Howdy,
Just got the trim on the side of the boat recovered, and I removed the single lever throttle control on my boat. Before I put it back together, is there any maintenance or lubrication that I should do? I know the lower and upper cable were replaced a few years back, and I have not had any issues, but I took it off, so I thought since it's off, I would check if there is anything that should be done. Any advice? Any type of lubricate that I should use? Where should it be lubed?
This is a Morse single lever control, on a 1986 Chris Craft Scorpion, with a 260HP Mercruiser.
