I have a bass boat trailer that I am redoing all the carpeted bunks on. I redid all of my bunks about 6 years ago. Since then I tore up a couple of them. I don't want to redo them in the next couple years. If anyone could provide me with some good installation tips I would appreciate it. Also I was thinking about going with the 100 foot roll of bunk carpet from this website www.boatcarpetcentral.com https://www.boatcarpetcentral.com/trailer-bunk-carpet Has anyone ever used this bunk carpeting. The price seem pretty good and they are offering free shipping. Thanks for all your help.

When you say 'redid", do you mean the bunks and the carpet or just the carpet?

The bunk carpet that looks like a tangled up mess of fibers seems to be the most tear resistant.

If it wears or tears in the same areas all the time, the bunks might be telling you that those areas are a bit too high compared to the other areas and thus carrying more weight. Causing the carpet to give out.

I refurbished my bunks with outdoor carpet (the green-grass looking stuff) that I bought at Lowes fairly cheap. That has been 3 years ago and no sign of wear yet.
