Yes, but down South we add about 50 percent water to the field and call it "mud bogging". A boat hull on a 4WD chassis helps to keep some of the mud out of the vehicle and off the occupants. Free-time and money produce interesting hobbies!
Yeah my friend had one. It was a old Blazer chassis with 40" monster mudders on it. I'm not sure what kind of boat he used but it had a windshield like a t bucket and wings on the back like a caddie.
He used to drive it around Samsula FL Bimini top, fishing rods, stuffed sailfish, wakeboard w/ skate trucks, and blonde with sailors hat.
I wish could remember where I saw it,but I saw a magazine article about a class A motor home that would go in the water just like an amphicar.
It was really expensive but what a ride that would be.

I saw a TV show about this, it was incredible. It had air bags on either side for stability while in the water and the back or one of the sides(can't remember) folded open into a deck for sitting on. I think the price tag was in the Millions though.
