I'm can't wait to hit the Water. Yes the water is Cold but who Cares. I want to get out there an cruise the calm waters before the summer rush.
I stopped boating at the end of November. Yes you can boat all year but it does get cold in the Mornings. So 3 months of the year aint bad for not going boating so my boating season is 9 months.

Some people where shorts year round.

If the water isn't hard,,, it's not too cold to go boating!

Well,,, I guess I should say fishing as you wouldn't catch me in the water..

I've been out a couple times a month all winter long, even drug the whole family our the middle of January. No kiddies, you can't go swimming...

Well, maybe drug wasn't the right term...

The kiddies were all for it, but it took some convincing/compromising/negotiating/bartering to get the wifey to go... Launched and on the water at 5am to catch the gray light bite. The temps were hovering around 40* when we launched BUT, by 8am it was nice.

My wife says she prefers to go fishing/boating/swimming when it's a bit warmer.....

Yes I understand. I try to get my wife and kids out the door and at the Lake at first sun light 5:00am during the summer. The air and water is warm at this time.
