With All this post about Winterizing, Last Cruise of the Year, Boat Storage ect ect ect. You all are making me Sick. ;)

We were in the 90's this weekend in the Phoenix, AZ Valley. I'm planning my Next boating trip to the lake. The water might be warm enought to Ski and tube.

Take care all you Winter Land Lovers.

Oh, we're definately hating you here.

Our last time out was late August. September was a total bust, cold and rainy so I pulled her first weekend in October.

October has been reasonably good weather but we're fair weather boaters so in the end, we're stuck till May.

Ha! I'm just jealous. Me and my neighbor friend were having cocktails sitting in front of a bonfire on Sat. evening (evening temp mid 50's) talking about taking a little winter trip to Florida. The trip would include hauling the boat of course about 20 hours one way. Its amazing how realistic things seem after a few too many coronas!:p

Unseasonably warm in Indiana, imho. I've been making it a point to take the boat out every chance I get. I'm hoping to make it to the end of November before I have to put her away.

Though... I am kind of looking forward to putting her up for the winter season; as that is going to give me some time to actually put some work in on that boat.

For some of us, the end of the boating season in nothing more than the harbinger of a new season's activities.

This time of year is the reason I suffer during the 3 months high heat in AZ. I hate the cold and I don't have to shovel Snow to get to work.

i'm jealous, i wish i could boat year round, but i also love the snow. in cincinnati we don't get as much as i'd like -- except last winter. it was 0 degrees for 3 weeks with at least 18 inches of snow on the ground. fine powder. reminded me of the rockies.

nope dont hate at all. No reason the boat has to get put away when you can wear shorts all year long.

The boat might be on the trailer, but I'm still on the motorcycle until the white stuff shows up.

You can suffer 3 months of heat or you can suffer 3 months of cold. Our average high in the winter is almost 50 degrees. I'll take the 3 months of 50 degree temps over living in an oven for 3 months.

BTW: We don't shovel snow. When it snows here, we just don't go to work. :D:D

Well its what your use too I guess. I have visited cold climates before and I hated having to drive in Snow and Ice. I guess dress properly I would get use to. That is the Problem. I don't have Proper snow attire. It would be a real pain having the get the kids all dress is winter Coats and boots to send them off to school.

Now back to Boating. Yesterday I just finished waxing my boat for another outing. Nope I wasn't shrink wrapping it for Storage. :D

I spent two weeks in Denver on a business trip in Denver Colorado last winter. Frooze my tail off.

My house is easy to find. Just look for the Guy in a Speedo washing his boat in the winter.:rolleyes:

Theres still something to be said for wakeboarding behind a snowmobile in a couple feet of fresh powder in a big open field up in the mountians. Dress the right way and everything is fine thats just how it is here in Utah. Greatest snow on earth it even says so on our licence plates :D So you might as well learn to have some fun in the white stuff or just be miserable for 4-5 months.
