Re: Boating Season is Still Here.

Agree with Shrew the end of one season is the start of another for some of us. Time to put away the waterskis and wax up the snow skis. When you guys in AZ and FL are still stuck on the beach us sierra guys will send you pictures of neck deep need a snorkel to breath stuck in the white room bottomless snow powder skiing. Nothing like it can't even describe it. Don't get me wrong the water is great love being in the sunfor the shorterish summer season we have sometimes but the reason I live here is the POWDER!

If I want to Snow Ski I have a two hour drive north. I prefer not to snow ski because falling on water is a little more forgiving then hard pack now.

Look for Pictures of me in my Thong in December out on the Boat. :D

With All this post about Winterizing, Last Cruise of the Year, Boat Storage ect ect ect. You all are making me Sick. ;)

We were in the 90's this weekend in the Phoenix, AZ Valley. I'm planning my Next boating trip to the lake. The water might be warm enought to Ski and tube.

Take care all you Winter Land Lovers.

the boat and jetski went into storage last weekend, and the snowmobiles came out. There is no way I could afford to keep all 4 powertoys operational at the same time! Winter time is the boats R&R time, and summer is when I fix snowmobiles for the upcoming year...

Just got back from the lake. Cold front that moved in last night had them hugging the bottom and not biting:(Anyway, a couple months during the Summer is when I don't get out on the water. I'll be sure to post pics out on the water in short sleeves this winter;)

Re: Boating Season is Still Here.

I personally like seasons.

Me too, I feel sorry for the people who can't enjoy the beauty of the leaves changing, or the camp fire on a cool crisp evening, or the magical silence after the snow falls. Or the re-awakening when Spring comes, and everything starts growing. i wouldn't trade it for the world.
Plus, it gives me some days to work on my hot rods, and my house, and to maintain, upgrade my boat.

I sure notice a lot of people in "nice" climates sure seem to go out of their way to rub it in on the internet, when they could be outside enjoying their boat. :D

I love the leaves changing, I just don't like the frozen precip and 20-30 Northwesterlies that come after it :D

Guess 3 out of 4 (seasons) isn't bad though!
