a sad day 4 sure. had to pull outdrive to replace
cracked bellows, so made sense to also winterize
her at same time...
after a few hours, it sinks in that I just can't
decide it's time to wet a line whenever I want to.
anyone else having withdrawls yet? :p

I feel your pain, MY. However, if you'd been 'boating' as much as I have this summer, you'd be ready for a break. I think I've been in and out of my boat, this summer, more than I have for it's previous 29 years. If ya get my drift. :D

Yes, withdrawl, that's what it is called. Thats when you have a vessel, and the conditions are fine to use it, but you can't. In NY we called it Indian Summer, in Indiana we call it Hoosire Weatherdaddy. Your pain is felt throughout upper North America. ;)

I'm from Lockport. Heading out for a cruise on the canal right now. I was just looking at winterizing tips...I love it when procrastination pays off!!!

At least you have a boat to winterize. Right now I'm in the prosses of buying. I have got the money but the season is coming to an end. I could buy it now but I could only use it for about another 2-3 weeks. winter can not come and go fast enough this year.

ditto solittle, bought my boat in feb and got a
smoking deal.

Bondo, they are having alota luck here using the
big 9" storm wildeye swimming shads drifting and
jigging. they come pre-rigged with a single hook
up through the back, but u need to add a trailer
hook or you'll end up reeling in half a bait and
no gators...
good luck ;)
M.Y.

PS. had a dream last night I took out the boat
and forgot the plug! LOL
gonna be insane before next season starts...

My problem is the weather is terrific here.
Sun, little wind, blue skies & warm, but work is to busy to take off & family stuff has me committed this weekend.
Maybe Sunday I can fish before the weather turns.

I still need to wait a little longer. What could be worse than having a new boat you have to sit and look at all winter.
Ed quit work and take the family boating.
