I have a 23 ft hyrdasport and it has gil drive. I just took off the blown evinrude and want to replace it with a 250 hp 2003 hpdi yamaha...one ..how is this motor? and two will it bolt right on? is the pattern to mount on an outboard pretty much standard pattern? also I saw another one with a 30 inch shaft and mine was a 25 can i just raise the motor the one inch to compensate or stay with the 25 inch shaft
