Can a automotive machine shop bore a outboard power head?

I cant see any reason why not, a boring machine is a boring machine, the machine dont know what the engine block is from.
Just make sure they know exactly what sizes you are wanting done.

Hi, I know my local engine rebuilder said he didn't have the right jigs, or brackets or something, then I checked a bigger establishment that does a lot of engine machining on auto engines, they said they had the tooling to do it. So I guess it all depends.
