I'll add the the lower center of gravity of the traditional Whaler design will keep it upright longer than something like an aluminum Starcraft. Very wet, maybe yes, but it will be upright & afloat.
- Whenever Boston Whaler questions come up I'm reminded of when I was working on an offshore commercial scalloper & we were a good 100 miles or so offshore, out of the fog came this guy who called out "which way is Atlantic City", the captain took a look at the compass, stuck his head back out of the wheelhouse and yelled "that way" as he pointed. The guy said 'thanks' & headed off into the fog. ---- The guy was on a Boston Whaler Outrage.
