bought a 1966 50hp 1940373

i'm the Johnnyrude guy that just got a good deal on this. anything out of the ordinary, to look out for. i know get a manual,, on it's way. i lived thur my 71 1350, but this is the smallest merc i've had. i do know that the 4 cylinders 50's were good..

got to get it home and start on it.

That engine has a serious problem that cannot be corrected, Daddy.

got it home, dry compression 1,2,3, 120, 4 110. starter and solenoid good. could not get spark weak battery. lower unit no water and shifts. all pluses. will have to get to distributor, when manual comes. very clean for it's age.
