Bow seat back mounting hardware

Hey...

I'm re-upholstering my bow seats and side panels on my boat. The seat backs and panes are attached using these plastic double sided things.

Anyone know where I can get replacements as a lot have broken removing the panels...and what is the correct term for them?

You are probably talking about "plastic christmas tree" type panel mounting studs.

I tried to remove my bow seat backs and discovered that they were screwed in from the other side. I could not get to those screws until I took the cap off. I would like to replace them with some of those plastic mounting things if anyone knows where I can get them.

I can tell you where to buy plastic mounting things at a discount, in bulk, or painted shiny silver. The problem is, without a picture, I'm not sure the plastic mounting things I'm talking about are the same as the plastic mounting things you're talking about.

After all, we don't want to mix up our plastic mounting things, right?

Post a pic and we'll see if we know a source.

I think you can find those in auto parts stores as well as they are commonly used to fasten interior door panels on cars.
