Brake light fuse

Only when I hook up my tailer my brake light fuse will blow one out of ten times>?

sounds like you have a short in the trailer, something crossed wired.

only intermittent huh- that is the worst to troubleshoot!

Check to see if any bulbs are holding water, sometimes they leak. Also check anywhere the wiring insulation may be chafed along the trailer causing a short to ground.

10 to 1 odds it is a chaffed wire.
I would just pull out the old wiring harness and replace it. A lot easier than trying to find where the wire is chaffed.
Be sure and retie the harness, use "Waterproof wirenuts" these are special in that they have a protective substance and guard where you insert the wire ends. If there are any ares where the wires go around a sharp corner you could place some tubing overthe harness to protect it.
