Last Fall I replaced all of my fluids filters etc. while winterizing. Now I'm kinda' in a pickle because I read somewhere that it's safe insurance to replace the drain plugs on the outdrive, along with the paper gasket. I had quite a mess going last fall with draining my outdrive, dropping the plug in the oil etc.

Anyway, I would like to replace them but can't seem to figure out which ones to order. West Marine had 2 different styles of threads and I don't remember mine being magnetic? Can anyone help me with the proper part number of these little things so I can order them up? I don't understand why I'm having difficulty finding it. Must be user interface error

Re: Bravo 3 Drain Plugs

You don't replace the drain plugs, just the gaskets. The plugs themselves don't fail. Maybe one in 10 million.
Gaskets, yes, replace them every time.

Now, if you just want spares, get the OEM number for your plugs first and if you want to go cheap aftermarket then make sure the aftermarket converts to the OEM number.
Go to this link and put in your SN to get the OEM numbers. https://webapps.brunswick.com/literature/literatureSearch.do
