I have broken the lube fitting in the transom. Was able to remove the E clip but can't figure how to remove the "quick disconnect". Don"t know how to work it.
Any help short of breaking the disconnect would be appreciated.

You need to push the off white colored button in to release. It's not as easy as you would think.

P.S, Sorry Chris, unfortunately many experiences with messing with this fitting requires no serial number needed this time. Just jugging by the OP's description with words like E clip is more than enough.

I suspected so, just wanted to be sure if someone with more experience didn't come along... (also want to get posters into the habit of including serial numbers )..
