It is a OEM Mercury Precision Parts Kit (made in China and Italy) labelled Bravo I,II, III. I doubt its a combo unless Mercury chose to delete Alpha from description.Looks like an Alfa/Bravo combo kit.
Black one goes on the drive unit input shaft where it goes into the gimbal bearing
Thanks. 5 out 6 aint bad
I little bit of marine grease will hold the o-rings in place while you install the drive. Glue will be less ideal. What you all use to hold/glue these in place for install? Just rubber cement?
Ayuh,...... I use grease too,......I little bit of marine grease will hold the o-rings in place while you install the drive. Glue will be less ideal.
Hi Bondo; Thanks. Can you comment on if the orange coating normally peels off the orange ring gaskets during install (rolling em down the shaft) revealing they are black underneath? Or is that orange coating needed to stay in tact? Mine peeled off.Ayuh,...... I use grease too,......
Maybe abit of perfect seal, if the funky o-ring/ gasket thingy wanted to fight,....
Ayuh,..... No worries, the o-rings just snug against the shaft, inside the gimble bearing,...Hi Bondo; Thanks.
