When breaking in a rebuilt engine with twins whats the best way to double the oil on only one engine? The engines are 150's so a six gallon tank wont last long.

Disconnect VRO - from older twin - and add oil to fuel - ~100 gallons in tank (add two gallons)

Run both at 25:1?

Thanks

Richard

That would be 50-1

I would run both at 25-1.

Adding 2 gallons to 100 is 50:1 plus using the VRO on the newly rebuilt engine should give me 25:1 on the rebuilt and 50:1 on the old one.
