Building a platform on 14' tri-hull

Howdy - I wanted to get some opinions on my idea to expand the front platform of my boat.

I wanted to take up about half of the front legspace to make the front platform about twice as wide, and then put in a post seat.

Has anyone tried this? Is there a place on iboats or online that explains the best way to do this?

I've seen conversion in aluminum boats, but not with fiberglass.

any help or feedback is appreciated.
