My trailer has 3 rollers and 2 bunks. What is the proper way to adjust them? Should they all carry the same wieght or should the boat ride up on to the bunks when it is fully loaded leaving little or no wieght on the rear or centre roller? The boat is a 14'fibreglass

Try this for what its worth. The keel is the strongest part of the boat! Keep the rollers under the keel and use the bunks to balance the load. That is, most of the load on the rollers. This is not always possible, but it's a good start. If you drive on, the rollers will be the guide and the bunks will keep the boat from tipping. In theory you would not need the bunks at all. The otherside of the question is that the bunks replicate the water and cradle the weight distribution of the hull as the water would. Most trailers have a little bit of each. Either way a well designed trailer for your boat will work. Your choice. Any thoughts out there?
