Bunk material

Hello everyone.

I've worn through the material on one of my bunks and would like to know what material to use and how to recover them. My boat is 14' Valco fishing boat (probably 200 lbs or so) and the bunks are about 4" wide. Thanks.

Not sure where you are...

Where i am Academy Sports and Walmart both carry "bunk carpet" two different widths, black or dark gray only.

I got mine at Home Depot... indoor/outdoor carpet (sold by the foot 10 or 12 foot width) , same stuff more colors and cheaper. I wrapped it a little further than the made to with would have allowed. Also got the stainless staples & hardware, p/t wood. I completely redid mine.

I'm thinking about taking the bunks to my local upholstery shop and having him put on some indoor/outdoor carpet. He works very inexspensively.
