Lack of sponsorship........... After reading the article I'm not sure what his 2015 plans were, maybe retirement? I guess this isn't a total shock, just a little disappointing...

Interesting thing is he had sponsorship. I see this as class. Helping out the organization. Would love to see him in the booth. A win by the end of the season would sure be sweet!

Yes sir, Burton is class all the way. Right on Speck - Too bad about his fans, one of them even said something almost nice about Busch The Younger a little while back. :faint2::facepalm:

Actually, Austin is Harvick's replacement. The #29 will probably be the #3 as 888 reported. The #31 driver will be Ryan Newman if the rumors are true (they are). Jeff may help a lesser team, like maybe the 78 or possibly Baldwin. Looks like the TV booth in 2015. Maybe a management role at RCR. Focus on his son Harrison's racing as well. We could have two new Burton's in Cup in a few years. That would be awesome. Cousins, Jeb and Harrison.

Boy, if they bring the #3 back, I think Jr will even be tossed aside by Jr nation..... Always thought Jeff would be good in the booth or someplace in management, especially within NASCAR rather than any individual team. I suppose time will tell..... Now, who to root for next year before Jeb moves up...... Maybe go with Ryan since he'll be in the #31. I've always liked him...

Yes, Jeb has been confirmed for another year in Truck with some Nationwide races as well for 2014.
