I am thinking of purchasing a 1987 300sx that looks in mint condition for $450. I want it for something to putt around the lake on. (I have a boat and want something for myself and friends to ride while boat is resting on shore) $450 is my budget. Any input on this ski?

find an old 650 yamaha wave runner it will serve your purpose and be inexpensive, plus people will be able to drive it more readily than a stand up, just my opinion

Parts are hard to find. especially starters and the gear drive for the starters. Not worth it IMO.

I found that the kawasaki handled better than the yamaha superjet. There is more power in the superjet but the kawasaki was more stable.

For $450 you can get more than a 300cc.

Bad on gas. Lacks power like mad, Im not a small guy ( 200 pounds) and it JUST barely pulls me up. Find a 650 or 750
