Anybody have a suggestion for a resonably priced boat parts dealer that can ship in US?

I am looking for a starter for a VOlvo 3.0 4 cylinder 1996 engine. From what I have read on this forum buying a car starter is a big no no.

Also, can you buy parts of the starter, like a soleniod etc?

Thanks

Why not take your old starter to an alternator/starter rebuild shop? My guy rebuilds them for all the local dealers (car and marine) who sell them for twice what I pay from him...and sometimes up to 3 times the price.

Alex, I buy marine starters for my I/O from the local auto parts store. They are a bit cheaper than BoatUS or other discount marine places. The starters are rebuilt, vs the new ones at the marine stores, but they are fine for my purpose.
