Re: bypassing tilt help

As far as I know there is no seperate circuit to bring the motor up.It should go all the way up when jumping the blue wire.If you still have trouble you can always unscrew the manual bypass valve and lift it manually. The manual valve should be located on the stb side of transom mounting bracket, it should have a slotted head for a screwdriver.Loosen it a little, don't remove it!.Then you should be able to lift the engine manually and when it is up turn valve back in and it should stay up. Might require the help of a friend or two.

Re: bypassing tilt help

If you have two relays (as mine does), you could switch the wirings around and let the DOWN relay lift up your motor.
