yup. just that simple. It may be difficult finding them apart. Most junkyards will want to sell you the whole unit. You may also need to swing by NAPA and buy one or two adapters (the brass brake fittings aisle).
well, yes. Just one or two posts up is an ebay link. Print it out and take it to a boat junkyard. Hand it to the guy and say "i need one of these".
then go order a volvo aq290 new and send me a pm asking for plate. I'll give you an adapter plate for free if you will give me back a detailed record of nuts, bolts, washers, and fittings that you use. Here is an ebay listing of the volvo pump you would be looking for.

i only like the volvo because it is complete pump with both motor and valve body. I don't like doing half jobs. I washed my car four years ago and it upsets me that I have to do it again. You can imagine how I feel about fixing machines more than once.
