Hey, what happened I was trying to reply and thank you for sending me the funny face links, and wam-o stuff got zapped. What happened did the thread get zapped? Anyway I'm going to try to insert one of those things you sent. <br /><br />OK that didn't work, Now I feel like the bum that asks for a cigarette, then asks for a light? <br />How do I post them in a reply? <br /><br />Thanks Ralph

Ya they zapped it. It was funny while it lasted <br /><br />The way to use them is to select the Image button and then put in the url http://www.binaryrhyme.com/ubbicons/<image> <br /><br />Where <image> is the one you want to use - for example to use the rollies you'd put in:<br /><br /> http://www.binaryrhyme.com/ubbicons/roflmao.gif

Ok, when you click the "image" button a little popup window opens. Then you put that url in.<br /><br /> http://www.binaryrhyme.com/ubbicons/<image> <br /><br />for <image> in the above you put in the image you want to use angel.gif for example. so to use that one:<br /><br />1) Click on the image button (last button below in the right hand column)<br />2) A little script prompt window will open when you click on the button.<br />3) In the box type http://www.binaryrhyme.com/ubbicons/angle.gif <br />4) To make sure you have it right before you post, click on the "preview post" button below and see if it shows up properly before hitting "add reply"

<br /><br />I followed the directions you gave, when I clicked on the preview post, it shows a box with a red x in it. Was I supposed to have downloaded something first. I put the page you sent with all the funny faces in my favorite places, before they zapped the thread. But while posting, when I click on my favorite places I loose the screen (with the thread). <br /><br />I know a person can't remember all those descriptions such as (angle.gif) for each of those symbols. So I must have something wrong in not being able to view the symbol page, while posting! <br /><br />

Ok you are close now.<br /><br />All you are doing is pointing to the site with the icons - that is why it is an address (url) so no need to downloan anything.<br /><br />Try this, go through the process again and just cut and paste this in the popup box when you hit the image button:<br /><br /> http://www.binaryrhyme.com/ubbicons/roflmao.gif <br /><br />Be sure you have no blank spaces or a space at the end.

Oh well Ralph, I really appreciate your trying. One of the guys at the station, should be able to show me how to do this. When I tried to cut and Paste. I didn't have a cut option on the list in the box. <br /><br />Like I said one of the guys will be happy to show ole stupid how to do something. It will make their day.

The shame of it is, I don't have a clue as to what worked! Or why it took so long to work. It seems I got lucky, but before I signed off it was just a rectangular box with a cut out in it. <br /><br />Oh well, with patience, I get it right!<br /><br />

GB, if you look at you properties in the little box with redx in it you will see this.<br /> http://binaryrhyme.com/ubbicons/anle.gif, I think it should have been this,<br /> http://binaryrhyme.com/ubbicons/angel.gif, which would have resulted in this,<br />

<br />Just right click your little box with redx in it and click properties and you will see what I am talking about.

Ok Ralph, Now how do you put images in you signature line, The is no image button.

When you paste the image in the reply block it will show up with the word image on both ends of the url just recopy it off the reply block and go to your profile and enter it in your signture and (paste it) up date your profile
