Ok Ralph, I copied one of the smileys and modified it to identify oddjob. Can I post it to a another website so that I can post it here? If so were? I dont have my own website.

oddjob, post it on www.myfishingpictures.com and see if it will do it.<br />Just make sure it is in the gif or jpg format and you should be ok.

oddjob, did you get it?<br /><br />You just upload it to any server you have access to (your own space on your net provider, for example) Then, when you want to use it, you just put in the url (address) to it<br /><br />Example:<br /><br />{IMG]http://www.myhomepage.com/<image.jpg>[/IMG}<br /><br />Just replace the { } above with [ ] I had to do that so the post wouldn't think I was trying to post and actual image

Hey fellas, any idea how I can enable the animation of the smoke?..like the original one did before I modified it?<br /><br />

Ok now that I updated my profile incorrectly it wont show and and the same with my post thanking everyone. God give'ith and he then take'ith away. I guess I'll undo the profile update for now.

hey oddjob, I notice the one's that won't show up are hosted at myfishingpictures.com as a gif.<br /><br />Maybe they don't support gif, just jpg.<br /><br />Don't know for sure cause I use anglefire most of the time.

oddjob, go here, web page and host your gif's and jpg's.<br /><br />Just click on webshell on the left sidebar.<br /><br />Don't sign up for their email, just webshell.<br /><br />Works for me.

oddjob - you need an application that allows editing animated GIFs. Go to www.download.com and search for ""animated gif" lots of good freeware & Shareware to let you edit the whole thing and keep the annimation

Yea oddjob, that works.<br />Now go to edit profile and enter that same url into it, incased in [IMG}url{/IMG] and it should work in sig.<br /><br />Just use ] and not }

Well I deleted it, and replaced it with text stating what I did and guess what? A new screwy string is there now. Compare the properties in my last post to the others above that.<br /><br />opps! now I see my text string. time to try again...<br /><br />

Well I previewed a new topic post as a test and it showed correctly.. so hopefully this post will help reset it on this post.<br /><br />The preview say I maybe right....here gozzz!
