It would have been an excellent 4 day weekend to be out there. Calm and in the 70's. I can't ever plan to take advantage of the good weather.
WOW
176.4 mph boat on Havasu. Mouth to the dam in just under 12 min!:flame:
That's fly'in!!!
But,,, it's only 5 times as fast as my ol barge :second::scared:
would be very happy to read about any current weather-lake-launch conditions you guys see.
I'm hoping we see at least 1135 next year for a Grand Canyon trip
Does 1135 solve the rapids? My worry is seeing the channel at the transition point from blue to mud . . .
Is anyone interested in a G.C. trip this spring if the elevations allow? We could meet @ TBar, take off in the morning, have lunch in the canyon and be back late that afternoon. Post up if you're in and we'll take it from there. It wouldn't be until late spring when it's warm and the ele. is up...hopefully
I'm Interested. If we can't make it upstream, we'll just anchor and be of some support for those who can!

I call it the GC when you pass the marker . . .Just downriver from Columbine. About a mile.
