dont worry if u get stranded here we will find a way to get you and your baby home unharmed

Thanks a lot, Weimed. Your hospitality, guys, is amazing!

Sinistre, I will leave the long post on today's great experience for tomorrow. I am exhausted! Don't worry, the fishing was not my main goal, but I got three Sea Robins so I am satisfied :D

Weimed,

if the weather holds up in April i can almost guarantee you BIG stripers in the bay!!! This year was the only year I didn't get any and it is because I only got to launch once in April... in the middle of the day. If you get out early with the bunker schools... It is almost a sure bet. It happens again in October but it is not in the bay but up front by Breezy. I am hoping to get out a few more times this year, weather an work schedule permitting. Let's hope tomorrow the fish gods smile on us.

As promised...

I apologize beforehand for the momentary lapse of decorum (Greeting in first video) and duration and content (phone was dying and there were too many waves to film while underway at power. Those videos will come as soon as I get them!! Lol).

Yep, meant to tell you the Russian guy was out too! Lol. He had a problem getting started but figured it out and shot off! The bay is busy these days!!! Lmao! Working on my console, doubt it will be finished for tomorrow but Mark II is coming out nice. Guess I learned some wiring tricks from Mark I, only thing is I inadvertently cut the wrong wire and am hoping I can solder the gps puck w/ out affecting its performance. Can't remember what I paid for it but damn the combo fishfinder gps units are hella expensive!!! I LOVE that sideview image though... I see you hiding behind that rock Mr. Striper!!! LMAO!

I have so much work for the winter just off the top of my head: gps, storage setup, raising ob, anchor setup. Not including rebuilding my 15hp ob (at least try to), cutting the screws down from the transom wheel mount. I plan on setting up a toolbox command center, with a small battery to power the gps. I plan to use the bench seat as my platform for a mountable command center on the left, mountable quick release anchor on the right maybe a seat in the middle. I'm also debating to weather or not to setup a bass seat. It will be soft so end of day hurting rear end would not be an issue

I may have most of the basics done before I put the boat away. The console is about 50% finished.. Gonna take a while to get the wiring to my liking. Over the winter I'll primarily be working on streamlining the transportation issues and maybe getting some new gear (new pump). I can't find the main support bar for my cargo carrier :( wanted to try that out tomorrow. There's always something to do, oh and test out my bimini. I also need to figure out what I am going to do with the quicksilver. My nephew told me he is thinking of staying in GA. Where he is he'd have no use for the boat and I definitely can't store 2 boats!. May put it on classifieds and hope for a quick sale. Hopefully I get to start next season with everything done. Oh yeah and this season I will definitley need a tuneup. Not sure If I want to try the impeller thing myself. I'll see if time allows.

i noticed the water does not suck from my bath rub probably because its to high, i will buy a flush bag so i can fresh water flush my ob. the good the is its quite so i can flush for about 5 min with all the windows open so i don't die from the fumes lol. in march i will change impeller, put in new lower unit oil and may have to look up how to change engine oil

Just got back from another day (afternoon) on the water at the Delaware River. Decided spontaneously... Will read and write tomorrow, I guess. Can't get enough time on the water. Hope for more next weekend...

weird stuff happened during our fishing trip: sinitre air floor deflated completely, I lost alot or air from my tubes, i am wondering if it was the water temp that destroyed my air pressure, i need to buy a gauge to see if its the tubes expanding or im leaking air in all my tubes lol. will keep it inflated over night to ensure its the water temp

What is the water temps? I'm in the VA mountains and I'm frequently in temps of upper 50's and 60's when in trout water, I'll have to top off about an hour into it. I'm in a mariner 4 though

don't know but this is the first time this happened from about 4 outings but the water temp was cooler I guess outside temp was like 72

odd that it was the first time after being out several trips.....I don't think the water will cool off for another month maybe 6 weeks....weird. I think it may be a small leak

When the tubes are inflated to 3 psi it must be a big drop in temperature to feel that the tubes are deflating, so I second on the small leak guess.

My foot pump cracked in half :(. this is a disaster. I also think my left tube valve is leaking air will know for sure tomorrow. Need a new pump and cannot spend 200 right now. Looks like I am done for the year

Well, as we with Sinistre are with you, you can use our pumps. I will give you mine to have in the boat and maintain pressure in the tubes.

Left tubes over night inflated with as much pressure as I could (if I were to guess left tube bout 2.6 psi, front about 2.4 and left about 2.2). I am thinking the leak is coming from the valve. I heard a little hiss when before I put the cap on, might just have to clean it. If I go out with you guys again this year I will monitor it for any changes. Looked like the hiss stopped once cap was put on.
