when viewing the board side

along the top from left to right
coil 1 -
coil 1 +
coil 2+
coil 2-
alternator
sensor
sensor
ground

to allow the tracks to be viewed,
two, 1.5 microfarad capacitors where removed from the board side.
they were connected to the doughtnuts connected to:
capacitor 1 coil 1+ and ground
capacitor 2 coil 2+ and ground

I found it confusing to draw the circuit diagram,
and probably made some mistakes,
so that an incorrect circuit is not posted have a go at the circuit and we will compare notes

Actually the coating can be removed with paint stripper. I painted stripper onto the coating and allowed it to sit, then removed what was softened. Continued the same process until all was removed. Did not ruin any of the components, but will discolor the wires.
