can anyone tell me about this boat

Hello i have a 1988 commander 21' boat and cant find any info on it at all. I think its a hawk but all the pics of hawks i see on-line have either an inboard or jet drive and mine is an outboard, i will upload some pics soon thanks

I think Commander is still around, if it's the same bunch. But there are also some specs HERE, but I don't see your year.

Thank u thats the same thing i have ran into i tried to email commander boats and cabt remember if i messed up or if they just never replied, i see new boats from them so im guessing they r still building. I love the boat and have no problems with it just would lik to know more about it. Thanks again for ur reply

It's a cool lookin' day cruiser. The seating layout is sharp.

Maybe try calling Commander directly to find out if it's them. Email can get lost to a bigger organization. Maybe they've got a "historian" or something who they can put you in contact with.

Thanks ill sure do it. There is actually nothing like it at all aroud where i live so it completely cought my eye when i saw it and after a four hr drive to see it i had to bring it home lol i just finsihed completely stripping the trailer and basically renewing it and now im polishing the boat hopin to take it out next week. It is completely differant from those pics now lol thanks for ur help i really appreciate u takin time and interist in my post

Your 21 footer sure looks similar to some of Commanders current models. I found a a post in another forum saying that they moved to Corona, CA and the owner was easy to talk to. The post was a couple of years old, but Commander still has an active website.

I will sure do it should b pulling it out of the garage sat or sunday and headin to the lake ill snag some pics and poast them. Its cleanin up suprisingly good

Yea they r sharpening up good i think im goin to use some poly something i read about later on. I just took it out for the first time and absolutely love it just tryin to figure out the best trim and jack plate adjustments not use to stuff movin lol my pontoon is just a drop it down and go lol
