You really need to study up on batteries or you will be making another mistake. For a trolling motor you need a DEEP CYCLE not a MARINE STARTING battery. Read the labels. The Sears battery at $226 is outrageous. Check your yellow pages for a Farm Store and go to their Auto or Fishing Department. They generally have group 27 deep cycles for $75.00 with 175 - 185 minute RC. Forget the advertising hype and read the data labels - after you've studied a bit so you understand what the label is telling you and after you understand how much power the troller draws.
