Right, mine will have one also but it will be in a location where I won't be able to see it, which is why I want to install a sender.

Anything is possible with enough money and ingenuity.

I would thing you will need to punch a hole large enough to fit the sender in.
You will need to position the 5 or 6 holes for the mounting bolt properly in the tank.
They are on an irregular bolt circle so measure carefully.
You will need to fabricate a bolt plate to screw the bolts into on the inside of the tank.
DO NOT attempt to mount it to the plastic body!
If you split the bolt plate you will be able to fish it in the hole.
A piece of twine can be used to hold it in place while you get the first two bolts started.
A lot of work!

OR....

Just get a Fuel Manager.
It will tell you How much you Used, How fast it is being Used, and How much is Left!
And will sound an alarm when you get low.

The sender just goes in the fuel line.

You would be a lot better off to buy one that's made to have a sender.

I had the same question awhile back. Based on the responses I received, I now have a calibrated dip stick - cheap and works every time :)
