Can I find out details of my engine

I have just aquired a Yamaha 25HP outboard and would like to get some details about it so I can refer to a maintainace manual.
The number is 25vm 61R L 300979

I have looked at another post and a link was sent to the poster but i couldn`t understand it.
Please can someone help a 63 year old newbie?

In addition to the request above.............can anyone please tell me the mixture to use. I`ve tentatively been told 25-1.............wso as this is so inderinate I would really like to know from this forum.
