i'm replacing the seating in my boat and am facing a dilemma. i would like to buy a non-power adjustable pedestal for my front butt seat as i have read countless reviews saying the hydraulic lift goes out after 2 years or so. the one i have in mind is...
http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/s...5_225000000_225008000?cmCat=CROSSSELL_PRODUCT
...in the non threaded model.

i need to order one before the weekend is over if possible and bass pro shop is out of stock on this item. i have a gift card to bass pro so i'd like to spend it on this.

and (finally) my question is, can i buy 2 of the 11" or 13" fixed pin style pedestals and stack them together? will this work safely?

any advice is appreciated.

Re: can i use 2 pin pedestals?

so i decided to go ahead and get the adjustable pedestal from iboats and i order some other stuff i needed with the gift card to bass pro. but i am still curious if it would be safe or not to put two 13", 3/4"-pin pededstals into each other to make one 26".
any thoughts?
