Can I use a 1995 2 stroke leg on a 2001 4 stroke powerhead?

I just picked up a 1995 Evinrude 70hp E70ELEOR that is in great shape but needs to be rebored and new rings.

I also have the chance to pickup a 2001 evinrude E70PL4SIA 4 Stroke that has a good powerhead but needs a leg. (for a great price)

Can I use the 1995 2 stroke leg on the 2001 4 stroke powerhead?

The 4 stroke is a Suzuki-made engine and the 2 stroke an OMC-made engine.

VERY unlikely they will swap feet.

Nope, aint even close. A unit off a Suzuki DF70 will fit...

Thanks guys, that's what I figured.

I bought the 4stroke anyhow because it was a good deal. Good tip on the Suzuki parts.
