Fellas,

I just bought this boat and I couldn't get much information from the fella I bought it from. Mainly because I was already asking too many questions :) I have never owned a boat before and bought this as a project but I dont know what alot of things are. Can yall please answer some of the questions I have below and ill love ya forever... :) Thanks in advance.

Below is a livewell but they had cut it out to see the bottom of the boat... is the thing next to it a bait well?

Below is the view of the back of the boat. I know what the 3 compartments are on the right side... the middle has the gas tank. The other two both hold a battery and one has an oil tank in it also. Now the three on the left side are the ones that I do not know. I want to say the middle one is a live well but the other 2 look like live wells also, lol? Please help. Here are some pictures...

They are compartment vents. Forward movement of the boat forces air into the vent facing forward. The air passes through the compartments which often collect gas fumes. The air is exhausted out the vent facing to the rear. If you get to looking around under there, you may find a blower. The three compartments in front of the fuel tank are live wells with a bait well in the center. There should be one or more pumps associated with the live wells. The pump pumps water into them. There may also be a valve or another pump to pump the water out.

There is small bait well in the front of the boat and another live well. So all together there are five (5) livewells on this boat?

A livewell and a storage compartment will look much alike.
But a livewell will have a water inlet (via a pump) and a drain, which usually has a standpipe to regulate the water depth in the tank.

Roscoe, so in that case... There should be an inlet on the bottom to fill the tank and one on the top for overflow and regulation... correct? I will take a look tomorrow :) Thanks bud.

Ok, I looked and it looks like the one in the middle is the live well and the other two are storage. The one in the middle has the overfill holes as well an aerator. The others dont have that.
