Absolutely Beautiful for sure.

It's nice because "Little Lake" is always calm due to it being sheltered by the channel. It is good for perch fishing and means we can ski and tube no matter what the conditions are like on Georgian bay. Only problem is that you have to go out of the channel to check the conditions on the bay as it is about a half mile long with a few bends !!!

Come on over and see us. It is indeed an extremely happy place for the whole family. It is worth every cent for the smiles and memories we have as a family there. Only problem is that it is about 5.5 hours from home so we can not go there every weekend. We get there for 2 to 3 weeks in the summer, every long weekend for 5 days (or thereabouts) and a couple of other few day sessions as we can manage them. We bought a trailer in the fall that we will be putting seasonal about 2 hours from home. We will be there every spare moment that we can. And Oh yes it has a 10 mile long reservoir to boot for skiing, tubing and it is stocked with fish. I think the whole family will be at this one on a regular basis !!!

I missed this post. a 10 mile reservoir? That would be sweet. Your lucky to get there when you do. You certainly won't tire of it. And yes, would be a great family place for sure.

Looking forward to spring !!!!

Yeah, me too. We haven't had any snow yet and the lakes still aren't frozen. This winter is so wierd. Warmest in years, they say. I could go boating but I have 14 kms of dirt, muddy road to get to the lake. I think I'll wait for spring as well. lol.
