I more or less got this boat for fishing and hanging out on the lake. but I was thinking, could I ski with this size motor?? how much hp does it take to ski?

Sure you could ski (with a light boat and not a whale of a skier). I've skied with 35 HP's on 14' boats, trouble getting up on one ski, though.
