I just acquired a 90 hrsp Chrysler but it has no numbers anywhere. Where would they be? Painted over maybe?

Chrysler engines had an aluminum plate about 1 inch by 2 inches located inside the cowl, at the front, under the control cables and fuel line. Since engine parts were basically the same from year to year.all you need to know is if your engine is three cylinder (three spark plugs) or Four cylinder.and the ignition type--Distributor or no distributor.

On the stbd. side usually towards the top on the cylinder, under the electronics molded in to the block.
Is a foundry stamp. In the center of the stamp is the year.
It will give just the year, the parts didn't change much from model to model.
