Can't get my motor started

-32 C or -46 C with the wind chill and my motor won't start. 8"-10" or more of ice on the lakes so I guess I will have to wait till May.

You really have winter there already, wow I don't think the motor would like to be waked up at those temps.. Let it sleep until April or something..

At that temperature I would not be considering starting an outboard !!!!
Spring is good, wait till then and stay warm in the meantime !!!!

Really don't know how you guys do it.

I am in extreme northern Indiana and it normally gets bad enough you have to stop fishing in November and normally I can get back out by the end of March where you guys are locked in from Sept to May, i would go nuts!

You need a good ole Evinrude or Johnson. Good Canadian made engines that'll rip in the cold weather... Don't go with those rice burners!
