Well, I'm going to get some MarineTex and try re-attaching the couple male snap pieces that are missing.

Fireman, I wished I lived closer to your shop; my local upholstery place wanted $80 to do the snaps. Ouch! I guess I will be experimenting with my little die-and-anvil kit and see if I can handle it myself. I have a feeling I'll be learning a lot of new things with this boat!

You're other option is to look on CL, eBay, flea markets, etc and buy the Press-N-Snap tool yourself. New, they run about $100-110. If you can find a deal, you might be able to pick one up for $25-$50. A little more expensive at first, but you'll have the tool whenever you need it and you can always rent it out to your friends!
