Well, I've just repowered my project boat and I have completed repairing most of the boats issues. It's a 1978 Tiderunner 16' Runabout. One thing that has bothered me is that is has no capacity plate. Tiderunner, Gig Harbor, Wa is out of business. If there is anyone out there with the same boat, could you please reply to this post. Also, is there is someone out there with knowlege of how to get the info please do the same. Wouldn't you figure there would be a data base out there, somewhere!?!?

Thanks

Re: Capacity Placard?

Welcome to iboats!!

Replacement capacity plates are really just about never ever found :(

Here is a link to the USCG boatbuilders guide and you can do the math and draw your own conclusions..... it is very accurate if done properly ;)

Some states will issue you one if needed.....
