Hi all,
I have a pair of 1990 yamaha 150s. All carburators were professionally rebuilt March 07 and ran great until about sept 07 when they would not idle properly and stall. Yamaha machanic repaired again in 08 but by the end of the season motors again would stall at idle. Running WOT no problems. This year I will be replacing the Alu. fuel tank and attempt removing the carbs and giving them a good cleaning using the Seloc manual, hopefully this should solve the problem. Question is, should I have to replace any internal parts?( <60 hours since rebuild) or can I just remove clean and reinstall, and will there be any adjustments that have to be made? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
