Are you talking about the one on the very end of the needle ??

from what i can gather from the original post, the motor is actually 13.7 hp, model number 362. maybe im wrong??

i did this using stright piece of wire folded at the end in hook mode

I believe he is referring to the removalble bushings that the needle threads into. Sometimes they stay in, sometimes the fall out with the needle.

If you remove the packing nut, and thread the needle into it, it should simply pull out. Be careful not to damage the needle tip. Pull straight out, and a little penetrating oil may be needed.

I just leave them in though if they dont come out.
