I think I already know the answer to this, and expect a few snotty answers
but on a Rochester 2jet carb is there a difference between the marine carb kit and the automotive?
I would assume the top gasket is different because of the way the automotive carb vents into the atmosphere but from what I remember of these rochester carbs on the race track it looks similar.
Also if there is a difference where is the best place anyone has found to purchase the kit?

I cleaned my float bowl and float valve, not it runs great! Good smooth idle, good fast throttle response, good high rpm. I just have a gut feeling that I need to go ahead and kit the thing. The lower gasket and upper gasket look a bit damp. No leaks but I don't think I want to chance it. I hear gas+heat+spark+boat=bad combination!
Thanks and yes I deserve all the stuff I will probably get from this post.
