carb leaking fuel when primed 48 hp johnson

i have replaced the float, the needle and the seat. when i pump it up fuel pours out. I have no idea how this happens when i know the float, needle and seat are good, with the carb off i can blow and float works as it should. any ideas suggestions greatly appreciated.

Well----Time to revisit carburetor work.----There is something wrong with float and or float valve.

Even with all new parts the float still needs to be set correctly .

What kind of kit did you use. Some of the cheap knockoffs don’t always come with a matching seat and needle. Seen it more than a few times.

carbs are like toilet bowl... they work and fail the same way....bad shut off valves
