carb question

I have a 1977-1979 28HP mariner made by Yamaha.In the carb rebuild kit
there is a tiny little "o"ring.I just bought a Seloc manual and it shows the
"o"ring in the kit but not where it goes.Can anyone help me?

Did you pull the idle adjustment screw?

Yes I have.There is no "o"ring on the adjustment screw.Thanks for responding.

There is an o-ring and spring on the drain plug on the side of the bowl.

Thanks.My carb doesn't have a drain plug so that explanes the extra "o"
ring.
