Carb question

Hello All,

Just a quick question, i have a rochester 2 barrel carb on my mercruiser 898, and i was wondering if going to a 4 barrel would change or improve anything. Or should i just leave well enough alone.

It might give you a little but not too much. It would have to be a marine carb as an automotive carb will not work or be legal. If your engine came with a 2 bbl. it is probably cammed for a 2 bbl.
