Carb/screw recommendations?

I have a '65 Owens (I don't know what Owens model it is still researching that info) with twin inboard 318's. Now the guy that had the boat previously wasn't too bright. He replaced both carbs with the Edlebrock 1407's. Automotive carbs. So now I'm looking for the recomendations and experiences you guys have as well as places to find them at a decent price.

Now the second part of this post (Why make 2 posts when I can cover it all in 1 right?). The previous owner snapped a shaft. He replaced the shaft but hadn't gotten to replacing the screw. What would you guys recommend for a replacement? I'm not sure what the other screw is so I'm guessing that I'll likely end up replacing both but again looking for suggestions as well as where I can find them for a decent price (On a bit of a budget since I JUST completely rebuilt the engine in my car).

Thanks for the help.

Re: Carb/screw recommendations?

Edelbrock does make a marine version carb, call them, compare with what you have and see what they can do.

Some one has to look at that prop and determine what it is, match it only remember to reverse the rotation.

Otherwise, sounds llike you already have the situation well under control.

So the port screw will need to be opposite from the starboard one?

I know Edlebrock make a marine version (the 1409) just looking for a good place to snag 2 for a decent price.
